Ο κ. Λυκουρέντζος δεσμεύτηκε ότι θα εργαστεί για την ανασυγκρότηση του κόμματος και την μείωση της κομματικής γραφειοκρατίας και έκλεισε λέγοντας ότι «είναι ώρα να αισθανθούν οι Έλληνες ότι τα στελέχη της ΝΔ είναι δίπλα τους».
** Ένταση στη Βουλή για ν/σ του Υπουργείου Υγείας
Σκληρή γλώσσα χρησιμοποίησε η Βάσω Παπανδρέου στη Βουλή, μιλώντας για την πολιτική του Υπουργείου Υγείας . Δήλωσε την αντίθεσή της και καταψήφισε δύο διατάξεις του νομοσχεδίου που αφορά σε ρύθμιση των χρεών των νοσοκομείων.
Με την πολιτική δέσμευση ότι είναι η τελευταία φορά που γίνεται ρύθμιση χρεών των νοσοκομείων και με την κατάθεση των στοιχείων σύμφωνα με τα οποία τίθενται οι ασφαλιστικές δικλείδες ώστε ο στόχος αυτός να επιτευχθεί, η υπουργός Υγείας, Μαριλίζα Ξενογιαννακοπούλου απάντησε στα πυρά των βουλευτών της Αντιπολίτευσης περί νομιμοποίησης παράνομων προμηθειών των νοσοκομείων και της προέδρου της Επιτροπής Οικονομικών της Βουλής, Βάσως Παπανδρέου.

Η κ. Παπανδρέου κατά την συζήτηση των άρθρων 24 και 27 του νομοσχεδίου για την εποπτεία της ιδιωτικής ασφάλισης που αφορούν σε ρύθμιση των υποχρεώσεων των νοσοκομείων προς τους προμηθευτές, δήλωσε την αντίθεσή της και εν τέλει τα καταψήφισε.

«Ερχόμαστε να νομιμοποιήσουμε παρανομίες που έχουν γίνει. Και το Κοινοβούλιο δεν είναι πλυντήριο για να ξεπλένει παρανομίες. Μια αντίστοιχη τροπολογία είχε καταθέσει και ο Δ. Αβραμόπουλος και τότε το ΠΑΣΟΚ μίλησε περί σκανδάλου με αποτέλεσμα να αναγκαστεί να την πάρει πίσω. Τώρα μας καλείτε να κάνουμε το ίδιο. Δεν είναι δυνατόν να καλούνται οι βουλευτές να κόψουν μισθούς και συντάξεις ανθρώπων που δεν φταίνε για την σημερινή κατάσταση και να νομιμοποιούμε παρανομίες δισεκατομμυρίων», είπε η κ. Παπανδρέου.

Ο εισηγητής της Νέας Δημοκρατίας, Μάριος Σαλμάς έκανε λόγο για νομιμοποίηση παράνομων δαπανών 1,6 δις που έγιναν το οκτάμηνο διακυβέρνησης του ΠΑΣΟΚ. Απαντώντας η υπουργός Υγείας αρνήθηκε με κατηγορηματικότητα ότι πρόκειται για νομιμοποίηση παρανομιών τονίζοντας πως «με αίσθημα ευθύνης φέρνουμε αυτή την ρύθμιση επειδή εξασφαλίζουμε το δημόσιο συμφέρον», ενώ, όπως είπε δεν θα διανοείτο ποτέ να καλέσει την εθνική αντιπροσωπεία να κάνει κάτι τέτοιο.

Εξήγησε ότι με την ρύθμιση αυτή, πρώτον επιτυγχάνεται η μεγαλύτερη έκπτωση που έχει ποτέ επιτευχθεί ποτέ αναφορικά με διακανονισμό χρεών (15%), δεύτερον ότι δεν αποτελεί λευκή επιταγή για πληρωμή αλλά πλαίσιο το οποίο λαμβάνεται υπόψη από τους παρέδρους και το Ελεγκτικό Συνέδριο από το οποίο θα ελέγχεται το κάθε τιμολόγιο, τρίτον, τίθεται ασφαλιστική δικλείδα ελέγχου των προμηθευτών ώστε οι προμήθειες να γίνονται στην χαμηλότερη τιμή μέσου όρου της Ευρώπης μέχρι να ευδοκιμήσουν οι διαγωνισμοί και τέταρτον - όπως είπε - «από δω και πέρα γυρίζουμε αυτή την σελίδα και ζητούμε να μας κρίνετε από τα αποτελέσματα».

Η κ. Ξενογιαννακοπούλου είπε ακόμη ότι έχουν αναμετρηθεί με τον χώρο της Υγείας μεγάλες προσωπικότητες και από τις δύο παρατάξεις για να προσθέσει ότι δεν είναι εκείνη η οποία σήμερα θα πει ότι θα βρεθεί λύση με ένα μαγικό ραβδί. «Τα συμφέροντα είναι τεράστια και οι προκλήσεις μεγάλες. Με αίσθημα όμως εντιμότητας κάνουμε αυτή την προσπάθεια και φυσικά όχι μόνον με αυτή τη ρύθμιση» τόνισε εκφράζοντας την βούληση και την ελπίδα ότι αυτή είναι η τελευταία φορά, που ρυθμίζονται χρέη νοσοκομείων.

Το νομοσχέδιο εγκρίθηκε από την Επιτροπή και στα άρθρα και στο σύνολό του.

Νομοσχέδιο για την αναμόρφωση του ΕΣΥ
Οι διατάξεις για την ολοήμερη λειτουργία των νοσοκομείων και την απαγόρευση του καπνίσματος σε όλους τους δημόσιους χώρους από 1/9/2010 περιλαμβάνονται στο νομοσχέδιο του υπουργείου Υγείας που παρουσίασε την Πέμπτη η υπουργός Υγείας Μαριλίζα Ξενογιαννακοπούλου στο Υπουργικό Συμβούλιο και στη συνέχεια στους δημοσιογράφους.

Σύμφωνα με το νέο νομοσχέδιο, θα λειτουργούν στο εξής απογευματινά ιατρεία στο σύνολο σχεδόν των μεγάλων νοσοκομείων της πρωτεύουσας, αλλά και των πανεπιστημιακών νοσοκομείων σε ολόκληρη τη χώρα.

Ο θεσμός αυτός υπήρχε και σε παλιότερα νομοσχέδια και είχε εφαρμοστεί, αλλά με το νέο επεκτείνεται και διαφοροποιείται. Στα απογευματινά ιατρεία θα γίνονται στο εξής και εργαστηριακές εξετάσεις, ενώ ακόμη και οι πανεπιστημιακοί γιατροί είναι υποχρεωμένοι να δέχονται τους ασθενείς και να λειτουργούν το ιατρείο μέσα στο χώρο του νοσοκομείου, κάτι που προϋποθέτει ότι θα πρέπει να κλείσουν τα ιδιωτικά απογευματινά ιατρεία που διατηρούσαν μέχρι σήμερα και τα οποία είχαν σχέση με το νοσοκομείο στο οποίο εργάζονται.

Σύμφωνα με στοιχεία που παρουσίασε η υπουργός Υγείας, καταγράφηκαν 18 εκατομμύρια επισκέψεις το χρόνο στις μονάδες υγείας από τις οποίες 12,5 αφορούσαν τα νοσοκομεία και 12 εκατ. από αυτές τα πρωινά ιατρεία.

Εκτιμάται ότι εξοικονομήθηκαν για το σύστημα υγείας 40 εκατομμύρια ευρώ από τις 500.000 επισκέψεις στα απογευματινά ιατρεία των νοσοκομείων. Γι' αυτό το λόγο το υπουργείο Υγείας αποφάσισε να επεκτείνει το θεσμό των απογευματινών ιατρείων, καθώς πιστεύει ότι με τον τρόπο αυτό θα διπλασιάσει ή και θα τριπλασιάσει τα έσοδα των νοσοκομείων. Ο λόγος που τα απογευματινά ιατρεία των νοσοκομείων θα κάνουν και εργαστηριακές εξετάσεις είναι για να ανακοπεί η μεγάλη σπατάλη των ταμείων προς τα ιδιωτικά κέντρα για εξετάσεις και διαγνώσεις.

Στο νομοσχέδιο, μεταξύ άλλων, προβλέπεται και η μετατροπή του χαρακτήρα κάποιων μικρών νοσοκομείων και ρυθμίζεται το θέμα των εφημεριών, καθώς προβλέπεται μηνιαία αποζημίωση ανά νοσοκομείο. Αν απαιτούνται περισσότερες εφημερίες κατά περίπτωση θα πρέπει να τις καλύπτει το νοσοκομείο με δικά του κονδύλια.

Τα απογευματινά ιατρεία και τα διαγνωστικά εργαστήρια των νοσοκομείων θα έχουν δυνατότητα να συνεργάζονται με ιδιωτικές ασφαλιστικές εταιρίες αλλά και με τα ασφαλιστικά ταμεία. Το μέτρο αναμένεται να εφαρμοστεί άμεσα μετά την ψήφιση του νομοσχεδίου σε περίπου 25 μεγάλα νοσοκομεία του λεκανοπεδίου Αττικής, αλλά και σε πέντε-έξι πανεπιστημιακά νοσοκομεία της περιφέρειας, ενώ σιγά-σιγά θα επεκταθεί στο σύνολο των νοσηλευτικών ιδρυμάτων.

Όσον αφορά το κάπνισμα, οι διατάξεις για την απαγόρευση του οποίου περιλαμβάνονται στο νέο νομοσχέδιο, γίνεται πλέον ξεκάθαρο ότι από 1/9/10 απαγορεύεται η χρήση καπνού σε όλους τους δημόσιους χώρους και τα πρόστιμα για τις παραβάσεις καπνιστών καθορίζονται από 50 έως 500 ευρώ, ενώ για τους καταστηματάρχες από 500 έως 10.000 ευρώ.

Δίνεται παράταση για τα καζίνα και τα κέντρα με "ζωντανή" μουσική άνω των 300 τ.μ. έως τις 31 Μαΐου του 2011 ώστε να συμμορφωθούν με τις νέες διατάξεις.

Στόχος της κ. Ξενογιαννακοπούλου είναι το νομοσχέδιο να έχει ψηφιστεί μέχρι το τέλος του μήνα και να τεθεί άμεσα σε εφαρμογή.

**Νευρική κρίση σε κυβέρνηση - ΠΑΣΟΚ

Από αλλού το περίμεναν και από αλλού τους ήρθε στο ΠΑΣΟΚ.

Τροχιοδεικτικό για πιθανή εσωκομματική «ανταρσία» κατά τη διάρκεια της ύψιστης πολιτικής σημασίας ψήφισης του επίμαχου ασφαλιστικού νομοσχεδίου αλλά και ενδεικτικό της εν γένει κατάστασης στην κυβέρνηση και στο κόμμα είναι το «μπαϊράκι που σήκωσε» η Βάσω Παπανδρέου.

Ένα ένα τα παραδοσιακότερα στελέχη του κινήματος ξεσπαθώνουν κατά των μελών της κυβέρνησης, αφουγκραζόμενα αυτό που αδυνατούν να καταλάβουν οι έχοντες τα κυβερνητικά πόστα.

Δηλαδή τα μηνύματα οργής του κόσμου που βλέπει το κύμα λεηλασίας να γιγαντώνεται και την ελπίδα να πεθαίνει.

Τελευταία που ξέσπασε κατά του κυβερνητικού έργου η Βάσω Παπανδρέου, η οποία δεν έμεινε στα λόγια, αλλά προχώρησε σε πράξεις, καταψηφίζοντας τα άρθρα του νομοσχεδίου του Υπουργείου Οικονομικών που ρυθμίζουν τα χρέη των δημόσιων νοσοκομείων στους προμηθευτές.

Η κα Παπανδρέου, πρώην υπουργός και πρόεδρος της Επιτροπής Οικονομικών Υποθέσεων της Βουλής, επί της ουσίας κατηγόρησε την κυβέρνηση και την αρμόδια υπουργό Υγείας, Μαριλίζα Ξενογιαννακοπούλου, ότι με το νομοσχέδιο νομιμοποιεί παρανομίες δισεκατομμυρίων.

Η Βάσω Παπανδρέου προχώρησε ένα βήμα παρακάτω, χαρακτηρίζοντας εμμέσως πλην σαφώς το κυβερνητικό νομοσχέδιο «σκάνδαλο», καθώς, όπως είπε, παρόμοια τροπολογία είχε καταθέσει επί Νέας Δημοκρατίας και ο Δημήτρης Αβραμόπουλος και τότε το ΠΑΣΟΚ είχε μιλήσει για σκάνδαλο, αναγκάζοντάς τον να την πάρει πίσω.

Δεν είναι δυνατόν να κόβουμε μισθούς και συντάξεις και να νομιμοποιούμε παρανομίες δισεκατομμυρίων, είπε εμφανώς προβληματισμένη για τις κυβερνητικές προθέσεις η κα Παπανδρέου.

Το επεισόδιο με τη ρήξη Βάσως Παπανδρέου - Μαριλίζας Ξενογιαννακοπούλου είναι ένα ακόμη στο μεγάλο σίριαλ των εσωκομματικών συγκρούσεων στο ΠΑΣΟΚ.

Ο πρώην πρόεδρος της Βουλής, Απόστολος Κακλαμάνης, πνέει τα μένεα κατά της ηγεσίας των Υπουργείων Εργασίας και Οικονομικών, κατηγορώντας τους -εμμέσως πλην σαφώς- ότι καταστρατηγούν το νομικό πολιτισμό της χώρας.

Προφανής αιτία για τις «βολές» Κακλαμάνη η κρίση του Ελεγκτικού Συνεδρίου περί αντισυνταγματικότητας των βασικότερων διατάξεων του ασφαλιστικού νομοσχεδίου, που αποδεικνύουν ότι οι πολυδιαφημιζόμενες μεταρρυθμίσεις μοιάζουν με δουλειές του... ποδαριού.

Αλλά και στον κρίσιμο τομέα της Οικονομίας, η σοβούσα κόντρα Παπακωνσταντίνου - Κατσέλη δεν έχει τέλος.

Μετά τα διαδοχικά επεισόδια και τις αλληλοκατηγορίες για την αύξηση του ΦΠΑ, την έκρηξη του πληθωρισμού και την αδυναμία κίνησης της ανταγωνιστικότητας της χώρας, έρχεται η έμμεση κόντρα τους. «Πεδίο λαμπρό» της νέας σύγκρουσης κορυφής το πρόσωπο που θα αναλάβει τη θέση του επικεφαλής του Νομικού Συμβουλίου τους Κράτους.

Όλα αυτά, την ώρα που η βάση του κινήματος ομοιάζει με το ηφαίστειο της Ισλανδίας και η πιθανή της έκρηξη θα σκεπάσει με τέφρα τις υπερπτήσεις της κυβέρνησης με την τρόικα των δανειστών.

**Σάντος: Να συνεχίσουμε τις επιτυχίες

Ο Φερνάντο Σάντος, ο οποίος θα αντικαταστήσει τον Ότο Ρεχάγκελ, παρουσιάστηκε σήμερα ως ο νέος προπονητής της Εθνικής Ελλάδος. Ο πρώην προπονητής του ΠΑΟΚ στις πρώτες του δηλώσεις τόνισε ότι θα προσπαθήσει να δώσει συνέχεια στις επιτυχίες του αντιπροσωπευτικού μας συγκροτήματος, στηριζόμενος στη δική του αγωνιστική φιλοσοφία.

«Η Εθνική Ελλάδος έχει κάνει μια εξαιρετική πορεία την τελευταία οκταετία και στόχος μας είναι να συνεχιστεί αυτή η πολύ καλή δουλειά. Ο κάθε προπονητής έχει το δικό του τρόπο δουλειάς και φιλοσοφίας. Αυτά τα οκτώ χρόνια η Ελλάδα είχε επιτυχίες και θα προσπαθήσουμε να συνεχίσουμε έτσι» είπε ο Σάντος και συνέχισε:

«Στο επαγγελματικό ποδόσφαιρο τα λόγια είναι περιττά, σημασία έχουν οι πράξεις και κυρίως οι νίκες. Θα δημιουργήσουμε μια ομάδα πολύ δυνατή και ανταγωνιστική και θα προσπαθήσουμε να παρουσιάσουμε ένα ωραίο σύνολο στους Έλληνες φιλάθλους, με στοιχεία καινούργια που είναι διαφορετικά από του προκατόχου μου. Οι παίκτες με ξέρουν και τους ξέρω και αυτό είναι καλό».

Όσο για το ότι ο 56χρονος θα προπονεί για πρώτη φορά αποκλειστικά Έλληνες, ο Σάντος είπε: «Έχω δυσκολία να μιλήσω Ελληνικά, αλλά δεν έχω πρόβλημα στο να καταλάβω. Ξέρω πολύ καλά την κουλτούρα και τον λαό. Είναι διαφορετικά από όταν εργάστηκα σε ελληνικούς συλλόγους».

Κλείνοντας ο Σάντος ανέφερε: «Πρέπει κάθε φορά να δείχνουμε καρδιά μέσα κι έξω από το γήπεδο. Μέσα στον αγώνα πρέπει να δείξουμε επαγγελματισμό. Ξέρω το μεγάλο πάθος που έχουν οι Έλληνες παίκτες και ότι δίνουν πάντα το 200%. Είναι διαφορετικό στην Εθνική, γιατί δεν έχεις τους παίκτες κάθε μέρα κοντά σου, τους έχεις για μικρά χρονικά διαστήματα και θα πρέπει να τα εκμεταλλευτούμε όσο το δυνατό περισσότερο».

Πολύ κοντά στην απόκτηση του Σίντνεϊ Γκοβού βρίσκεται ο Παναθηναϊκός. Οι ιθύνοντες του «τριφυλλιού» είχαν επαφές με την πλευρά του Γάλλου μεσοεπιθετικού, καταφέρνοντας να αποσπάσουν το πολυπόθητο «oui» από τον 31χρονο άσο.

Εκτός συγκλονιστικού απροόπτου τις επόμενες μέρες ο Γκουβού αναμένεται στην Αθήνα για να υπογράψει το νέο του συμβόλαιο με τους «πράσινους».

Σύμφωνα με πληροφορίες ο πρώην άσος της Λιόν συμφώνησε για συμβόλαιο δύο χρόνων με τους πρασίνους αντί περίπου 2 εκατομμυρίων ευρώ τον χρόνο.

Εν τω μεταξύ νέα συνάντηση με εκπροσώπους των οργανωμένων συνδέσμων του Παναθηναϊκού είχε σήμερα ο Γιάννης Βαρδινογιάννης.

Ο μεγαλομέτοχος του «τριφυλλιού» δέχτηκε στο γραφείο του αντιπροσωπεία του «Ενιαίου Φορέα» και συζήτησε πάνω από δύο ώρες για θέματα που απασχολούν το «τριφύλλι».

Στη συνέχεια, ο «Τζίγκερ» δέχτηκε στο γραφείο του και εκπροσώπους από τη «Θύρα 13», την «ΠΑΛΕΦΙΠ» και τους «Cockneys».

Ο κ. Βαρδινογιάννης στη συνάντησή του με τους φίλους του «τριφυλλιού» υπεραμύνθηκε των επιλογών του, ενώ αναφερόμενος στον Ανδρέα Βγενόπουλο είπε: «Δεν είναι αξιόπιστος συνομιλητής. Πιστεύω ότι δεν ήθελε ποτέ να αγοράσει την ΠΑΕ. Όλος αυτός ο θόρυβος περί ορκωτών λογιστών, έγινε απλά για τη δημιουργία εντυπώσεων. Έτσι κι αλλιώς γνωρίζει πολύ καλά την αποτίμηση που έχει γίνει και την αξία της ομάδας».

Εν συνεχεία ο μεγαλομέτοχος του «τριφυλλιού» ζήτησε τη στήριξη των οργανωμένων οπαδών του Παναθηναϊκού, διαβεβαιώνοντας τους ότι ο Παναθηναϊκός θα συνεχίσει στο δρόμο των επιτυχιών.

Παράλληλα δεσμεύθηκε και για μετεγγραφικές κινήσεις που θα ενισχύσουν τη νέα σεζόν την ομάδα.

Τη δεύτερή της ήττα στην τελική φάση του World League υδατοσφαίρισης, που διεξάγεται στο Σαν Ντιέγκο των ΗΠΑ, γνώρισε η Εθνική ομάδα πόλο των γυναικών.

Το αντιπροσωπευτικό μας συγκρότημα ηττήθηκε 7-5 από την Αυστραλία, για την τρίτη αγωνιστική του Β΄ ομίλου της διοργάνωσης, τερματίζοντας έτσι στην τρίτη θέση του ομίλου της.

Η ομάδα του Γιώργου Μορφέση θα αντιμετωπίσει απόψε (11:30) στον προημιτελικό την Ουγγαρία, η οποία πήρε τη δεύτερη θέση στον Α΄ όμιλο.

Επειδή το θέμα με την παρουσία μας στο Σύνταγμα στις 29/6/2010 έχει γίνει αιτία πολλών αρνητικών σχολίων και από την στιγμή που η κόσμια συμπεριφορά μας δεν εκτιμήθηκε αλλά μάλλον έγινε τροχοπέδη για επιπλέον σχολιασμό, πιστεύω ότι έχει έρθει η ώρα να ξεκαθαρίσουμε κάποια πράγματα.Η Ελληνική Γροθιά δεν πρόσκειται σε καμία παράταξη. Βαριέστε να στρώσετε το κρεβάτι σας το πρωί; Κανένα πρόβλημα, αφού έτσι κάνετε καλό και στην υγεία σας, σύμφωνα με βρετανική έρευνα.Η μελέτη του Πανεπιστημίου του Kingston υποστηρίζει πως, ενώ ένα άστρωτο κρεβάτι μπορεί να είναι δείγμα ακαταστασίας, παράλληλα δεν αποτελεί πόλο έλξης για τα μικρόβια της σκόνης που δημιουργούν άσθμα και αλλεργίες, αφού δεν παρέχει τις ιδανικές συνθήκες ζέστης και υγρασίας που χρειάζονται για να επιβιώσουν.Ένα κρεβάτι μπορεί να αποτελέσει το ιδανικό σπίτι για 1,5 εκατ. μικρόβια, τα οποία δεν ξεπερνούν το 1 χιλιοστό σε μήκος. Η όρθια στάση της πλάτης κατά τη διάρκεια εργασίας δεν την ωφελεί, σύμφωνα με καναδική-σκωτσέζικη έρευνα.Οι μελετητές, χρησιμοποιώντας στοιχεία από μαγνητικές τομογραφίες, βρήκαν ότι η όρθια στάση της πλάτης δημιουργεί ένα περιττό τέντωμά της, το οποίο δεν ενδείκνυται. Η καλύτερη στάση που μπορεί να υιοθετηθεί, ενώ κάποιος κάθεται στο γραφείο του, είναι να γέρνει προς τα πίσω κατά 135 μοίρες. Με τον τρόπο αυτό μπορεί κανείς να μετριάσει την πίεση που δέχεται η σπονδυλική στήλη στο ύψος της μέσης, αποφεύγοντας τους πόνους της μέσης και της πλάτης που συνεπάγεται η λάθος στάση σώματος.Σύμφωνα με στοιχεία της Βρετανικής Ένωσης Χειροπρακτικών, το 32% του πληθυσμού περνάει περισσότερες από 10 ώρες την ημέρα σε μια καρέκλα. Οι μισοί δε σηκώνονται από το γραφείο τους ούτε καν για φαγητό, ενώ τα 2/3 κάθονται και στο σπίτι, μόλις γυρίσουν από τη δουλειά.Η στάση της πλάτης 135 μοίρες προς τα πίσω στην καρέκλα μειώνει την πίεση που δέχεται ο νωτιαίος δίσκος και εξασφαλίζει καλύτερες συνθήκες, οπότε και συνίσταται από τους ειδικούς.-

Τα χαρακτηριστικά της προσωπικότητας των ατόμων που είναι εμφανή στις κοινωνικές συναναστροφές απεικονίζονται και στον εγκέφαλο, αφού η ισχύς και επικράτησή τους καθορίζεται από το μέγεθος των διαφόρων περιοχών του.Σύμφωνα με μια νέα επιστημονική μελέτη του Πανεπιστημίου της Μινεσότα, με επικεφαλής τον Colin DeYoung, όσο μεγαλύτερη είναι σε μέγεθος μια περιοχή του εγκεφάλου, τόσο ισχυρότερη εκτιμάται ότι είναι σε ό,τι αφορά τη λειτουργία της. Οι ψυχολόγοι έχουν κατηγοριοποιήσει τα στοιχεία της προσωπικότητας σε πέντε παράγοντες, τους οποίους αποκαλούν «Big Five»: 1. ευσυνειδησία 2.εξωστρέφεια 3. νεύρωση 4. τερπνότητα 5. ειλικρίνεια-διάνοια.Στη μελέτη, 116 εθελοντές κλήθηκαν να απαντήσουν σε ερωτήσεις, περιγράφοντας την προσωπικότητά τους κι έπειτα έκαναν μια απεικόνιση του εγκεφάλου, όπου μετρήθηκε το μέγεθος των διαφορετικών τμημάτων του εγκεφάλου τους, ώστε να συγκριθούν μεταξύ τους. Η σχέση ανάμεσα στο μέγεθος των τμημάτων και την προσωπικότητα ήταν εμφανής. Για παράδειγμα, τα οργανωτικά και ευσυνείδητα άτομα, τα οποία είναι συνήθως πολύ μεθοδικά και με υψηλό αίσθημα αυτοπειθαρχίας, είχαν μεγαλύτερη μέση μετωπιαία έλικα, περιοχή που συνδέεται με τη μνήμη και τον σχεδιασμό. «Τα ευρήματα της έρευνας δείχνουν πως μπορούμε να βρούμε τα βιολογικά συστήματα που ευθύνονται για τη συμπεριφορά και την εμπειρία που κάνει τους ανθρώπους μοναδικούς» λέει ο DeYoung, τονίζοντας πως κάτι τέτοιο δεν συνεπάγεται πως η συμπεριφορά μας είναι καθορισμένη από γεννησιμιού, αφού ο εγκέφαλος μεγαλώνει και αλλάζει λόγω εμπειριών, συνεπώς αλλάζει και η συμπεριφορά μας.-

The cost of government regulation is truly staggering; it is also a barometer of how free we are to pursue our own interests and to determine the course of our own lives. An implementing Regulation covers the content and form of the document, including the use of plain language and a much more investor-friendly presentation of information about risk. The U.S. House of Representatives on Wednesday approved a stupid overhaul of financial regulations. The 237 to 192 vote in the House marked a win for Planetarch Obama and his stupid Amerikleptocrats. Weighing in at close to 2,000 pages, the legislation represents the largest expansion of Washington's role in the financial industry since the Great Depression.The stupid legislation establishes a new 10-member Financial Stability Oversight Council composed of regulators that would be responsible for monitoring and addressing system-wide risks to the financial system. Among other things, the council would recommend that the Federal Reserve establish stricter capital, leverage, and other rules for large, complex financial firms. This council would also have almost unlimited powers to draft financial firms into the regulatory system and even force them to sell off or close pieces of themselves.Venitist David John points out it is extremely difficult to detect systemic risk before a crisis has occurred, and the council would serve mainly as a group to blame for failing at an almost impossible task. On the other hand, its huge powers are much more likely to destabilize the financial system by stifling innovative products while failing to detect dangers posed by existing ones.The stupid bill also creates a new Bureau of Consumer Financial Protection with broad powers to regulate the financial products and services that can be offered to consumers. The intended purpose is to protect consumers from unfair, deceptive, and "abusive" practices, but the effect would be to reduce available choices, even in cases where a consumer fully understands and accepts the costs and risks. For many consumers, this would make credit more expensive and harder to get.The new agency would nominally be part of the Federal Reserve System, but it would have extraordinary autonomy. This autonomy would impede the efforts of existing regulators to ensure the safety and soundness of financial firms, as rules imposed by the new agency would conflict with that goal.Venitist James Gattuso points out that despite much rhetoric about ending bailouts, the bill does nothing to address Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, two of the largest recipients of federal bailout money. These two government-sponsored enterprises, now in federal receivership, helped fuel the housing bubble. When it popped, taxpayers found themselves on the hook for some $150 billion in bailout money. The failure to address their future is a serious error and shows just how hollow are claims that this agreement will prevent future crises.David John aserts this stupid legislation is the wrong approach to fixing the financial industry. Rather than end the "too big to fail" mindset, it reinforces it. Rather than end bailouts, it ignores the ongoing bailout of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. Charlemagne's efforts to resurrect the Roman Empire have been succeeded over a millennium later by the multipronged armadas of Eurokleptocrats steadily enslaving Europe. Barroso has turned into a tragicomic figure, who cannot control Greece, the most corrupt country on Earth. Hardly anyone thinks highly of Barroso anymore, a fiasco who cannot rein in Graecokleptocrats, who get million-euro-kickbacks every single day and raid the nest eggs of all Greeks. Venitis points out all Europeans are now criticizing Barroso for being very soft on Graecokleptocrats. Fourth Reich is holding on to Barroso for reasons of convenience, and because the search for an alternative could lead to a greater spread of the cancer of socialism. The European Commission(EC), aka Eldorado of Corruption, today adopted a Communication outlining a set of tools to strengthen the economic governance of Fourth Reich(EU) and the euro area. Its cornerstone is the implementation of enhanced surveillance of fiscal policies, macroeconomic policies and structural reforms. Enhanced surveillance will be based on a European semester and comes with an array of sanctions to prevent or correct the excesses that could jeopardize the financial stability of Fourth Reich and the euro area. The Stability and Growth Pact will be reinforced with particular attention given to the evolution of debt as well as public deficits.What the EU bailout did not do was address the underlying causes of the debt crisis. The basic conditions that led to the present state remain. Greece remains a basket case fiscally, politically, ethically, and economically, with what an International Monetary Fund (IMF) assessment diplomatically referred to as deep-rooted vulnerabilities. Many European nations are running unsustainable budget deficits that debt markets are increasingly reluctant to finance. Even Germany may be at risk due to enormous and as yet unbooked losses from its state-owned Landesbanken. And above all, the reality of Europe's bankrupting social welfare programs is no longer a matter for future reflection and discussion but is now immediately apparent and demanding of immediate correction. Member states must submit their Stability and Convergence Programmes and their National Reform Programmes simultaneously. This will facilitate a better integrated and more effective ex-ante policy co-ordination at the European level. In the second part of the year, this review should guide the drafting of domestic budgets for the following year. The Stability and Growth Pact should be reinforced both on the preventive and corrective arms. The Eldorado of Corruption proposes to require a faster pace of progress towards budgetary balance for countries with high level of debt or pronounced risks in terms of debt developments. The debt criteria should be applied effectively through a clear and simple numerical benchmark for defining a satisfactory pace of debt reduction.* Secondly, beyond budgetary surveillance, the Eldorado of Corruption proposes to address the macroeconomic imbalances among member states, which weaken the cohesion of Fourth Reich and in particular the euro area. Early detection through a scoreboard of indicators together with a more constraining European framework would spur correcting increasing divergences. * Thirdly, the Fourth Reich-wide surveillance of structural reforms in Member States should ensure that sufficient progress is made in line with the overall goals of the Fourth Reich 2020 strategy for a more sustainable and more environmentally friendly growth that is based on knowledge and creates jobs, as adopted at the European Council in June 2010. The cost of government regulation is truly staggering; it is also a barometer of how free we are to pursue our own interests and to determine the course of our own lives. More guns = less crime.It is disturbing that four justices voted to uphold Chicago's gun ban. Their position is an attempt to pursue a policy goal from the bench, not to apply the Constitution, and to make matters worse, it is a policy goal that would be very harmful to the people of Chicago, and potentially to everyone in America.This ruling follows the District of Columbia v. Heller ruling, which overturned D.C.'s ban on handguns. That case was originally brought by Dick Heller, Libertarian Party member and treasurer of the D.C. Libertarian Party.Hinkle hopes this ruling will lead to further court decisions that reduce the government's ability to infringe on gun rights with burdensome restrictions and red tape.Republicans and Democrats both deserve blame for violating gun rights. While Republicans often position themselves as Second Amendment defenders, it is worth noting major examples to the contrary:Republican 2008 presidential nominee John McCain received an F- rating from Gun Owners of America;Republican president George W. Bush supported a program called Project Safe Neighborhoods that sought to toughen and federalize prosecution of gun control laws;When he was running for Massachusetts Governor in 2002, Republican Mitt Romney said, We do have tough gun laws in Massachusetts; I support them; I won't chip away at them; I believe they protect us and provide for our safety;In 1991, former Republican President Ronald Reagan announced his support for the Brady federal gun control bill.The Libertarian candidate for New York Governor, venitist Warren Redlich, points out the ruling will affect New York gun control laws. This landmark ruling will require New York State to take immediate action to amend its gun laws so they do not violate the constitution.
